Canoa Quebrada Off Road A Canoa Quebrada Off Road Adventure is a great destination choice! You can take in some of Fortaleza's most spectacular coastline by day and party into the wee hours of the morning by night.  Canoa Quebrada Beach Canoa Quebrada is 164 kilometers / 102 miles from Fortaleza along the Costa Sol Nascente (The Sunrise Coast). The village sits high in the dunes. Protected by impressive red cliffs that at certain points seem to keep the town from falling into the sea. What was just a small fishing village nestled between two big sand dunes dunes. Became a popular Hippie hangout in the 70's and is now one of the most famous beaches along the coast of Ceara. Not only a popular destination for Brazilians and South Americans but regularly visited year round by people from all over the world!
Canoa's beach is lined with Jangadas (fishing boats) and Barracas (bar-restaurants). Local dishes are served with fresh seafood, coconut juice and and beer. Music is playing everywhere, there's dancing, capoeira, volley ball soccer kite and wind surfing. People going by on everything from dune buggies to horseback.
Not only famous for its beautiful beach setting. It retains a friendly atmosphere and active nightlife. The main street which everyone likes to call Broadway is filled with great restaurants, pizzarias, and bars with live music and dancing!
Things get started around 11 PM in Canoa Quebrada and don't stop until early morning with everyone climbing to the top of the dunes to watch the sun come up!

Canoa Quebrada Off Road Adventure Trek Details.... CANOA QUEBRADA OFF ROAD (One Day Trek) Fortaleza - Canoa Quebrada - Fortaleza Depart as early as possible (according to tide chart) heading out from Portas Das Dunas along the beaches of Presidio, Iguape, Barro Preto, Caponga, and Aguas Belas. Crossing the River Malcozinhado and on to Morro Branco. Where we stop to take a small hike along the see cliffs. In Canoa Quebrada we break for a delicious seafood lunch! At 5:00 PM we make our way back to Fortaleza by Road. OPTIONAL: Bilingual Tour Guide NOT INCLUDED: Lunch and personal Expenses INCLUDED: Land Rover Defender 110 off-road vehicles Full Time Driver/ Guide Travel Insurance. Depart Canoa according to the tide chart driving along the beaches of Majorlândia, Quixaba, Lagoa do Mato, Redonda and Ponta Grossa. In Ponta Grossa we stop for a delicious Seafood lunch at the foot of the dunes. After lunch and a short rest we return by paved road to Fortaleza. SUGGESTIONS! Maximum Baggage allowance : 10 Kilograms per person We recommend taking along a hat and sun block, bathing suit, a change of clothing. Take along any medication that has been prescribed to you. They probably wouldn't be available in the small pharmacies along the way! Carrying smaller bills. Its very difficult to make change for large bills in isolated places. Stops are made along the way to take photos swim, sand ski.... Always cooperate with the driver/ guide. Smoking is not permitted inside the vehicle.
